A LITTER of abandoned pups is looking for a loving home.

Seven six-week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross pups arrived at the Dogs Trust Merseyside a few days ago.

The team at the rehoming centre have named the three girls Amaryllis, Honeysuckle and Candytuft, and their brothers Hosta, Lupin, Cosmos and Mallow.

Georgina Lowery, Dogs Trust Merseyside manager, said: “They are absolutely adorable and with loving owners they will make a wonderful addition to the family.

“A dog is for life and welcoming a four-legged friend into the home is a huge commitment so we’re looking for dog-lovers who have the time, energy and patience to help these bundles of fun become confident, sociable adult dogs.”

Anyone able to offer a pup their forever home should contact Dogs Trust Merseyside on 0300 303 0292 or visit the centre at Whiston Lane, Huyton, L36 6HP. It is open every day except Wednesday from 12pm to 4pm.
