A RUNCORN optician has invested £100,000 in its audiology services.

Specsavers has introduced state-of-the-art equipment as part of a refurbishment of its store in the Shopping City.

A specialist soundproof booth has been installed and the service will be available six days a week.

Around 2,000 customers a year, both private and NHS are expected to be treated each year.

New hearing aid audiologist Tracey Bell has been appointed to work alongside audiology assistant Sarah Wills.

Director of Runcorn Specsavers Chris Graham said: “We’re extremely proud to be able to offer such a great service to our customers and to up our offering in the community.

“The investment will mean we’re able to reach and provide care for more customers allowing us to provide top of the range treatment to all who need it.”
