TWO men have appeared in court following an attack on a 36-year-old man in Runcorn.
Officers were called to Beechwood on Friday at 10.30pm following reports a man had been assaulted at a property on Arndale.
When police arrived at the scene, officers discovered a man had sustained a cut to his head.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics.
After conducting a number of enquiries in the area, officers arrested two men.
Jake O’Hare, 25, of The Glen, Runcorn, has been charged with assault by beating, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage.
Malcolm O’Hare, 50, of Penfolds, Runcorn, was charged with section 18 wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
The pair both appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Both suspects are expected to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, August 21.
