A TABLE top sale at Castlefields Community Centre raised £150 for the mayor's charities Speak Out and Halton Entertainment Arts Regional Theatre School (H.E.A.R.T.S).
The groups were nominated by Cllr Alan Lowe to help the charities to continue to make a different in the community.
Halton Speak Out was founded in 2001.
The main aim of the group is to support individuals with learning disabilities by offering a range of services.
H.E.A.R.T.S is an inclusive, not-for-profit community theatre group which was founded in January 2000 as a fundraising project by the joint churches of Saint Basil and All Saints.
The aim was to raise funds to finance a Millennium Garden of Remembrance for the community in Upton.
