A WOMAN continues to fight for her life after she was left with critical burns following a flat fire in Widnes.
Mum-of-three Nora Hughes remains in a coma after she suffered extensive burns in a blaze at her home on Margaret Court on Friday, July 14.
Her son Michael, 29, said: "There has been no change but she has contracted pneumonia.
"It has been a difficult time – I just feel numb."
Doctors at Whiston Hospital warned her family that the 46-year-old might not pull through as she only had a 15 per cent chance of survival.
But within days she started to show signs of recovery.
