Pile of wood in flames off Mersey Road in Widnes
A LARGE amount of wood was on fire in woodland off Mersey Road in Widnes.
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 7.30pm last night and ran to put out the flames using hand held extinguishers.
Luckily nobody was reported hurt.
