AN inspirational teenage girl who had a ‘heart of gold’ has died suddenly in her sleep.

Emotional tributes are being paid for much-loved Louise Carmon, 19, of Bankfield Road, Widnes.

Heartbroken friends, relatives and wellwishers have donated more than £2,700 after a crowdfunding appeal was launched to pay for her funeral.

Her griefstricken mum Rachel Keenan, 34, said her daughter had an ‘absolute heart of gold’.

She said: “I’m going to miss every last little inch of her because I had her when I was 15 and she’s been part of my life ever since.

“She was like a best friend to me.”

Gifted artist Louise loved animals.

“We are hoping to have a horse and carriage for her because she deserves the best,” said Rachel.

“Her love of animals was incredible. She’d rescue little mice the cats caught on the back field and put sugar on spoons for bees.

“She had three dogs and five rats which used to sit on her shoulder.”

A family fun day in her memory takes place on Sunday, July 30 at the Hammer & Pincer pub on Liverpool Road for animal charity, People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA).

Louise gained an A* GCSE in art at the former Bankfield School and a triple distinction at Cronton Sixth Form College.

She was about to apply for university and hoped to become a tattoo artist.

“She was very creative,” added Rachel. “She was just a wonderful human being. She hated all the terror and bombings going on in the world.

“She was really inspiring and wanted to make people the best they could possibly be.

“People who met her instantly fell in love with her.”

In September Louise joined her sister Paige, 11, and five-year-old twin sister and brother Adele and Logan to celebrate her mum and step dad Mark’s wedding.

The family wants to thank everyone for their donations.

“All the generosity has been overwhelming to help me and my family through this,” said Rachel.

“We’ve had the autopsy and everything is clear. They are saying it could be adult cot death.

“It was such a shock because she had not been ill and she didn’t smoke or drink.”

Louise was found dead at home by her grandad on June 11.

“We were away as a family,” said Rachel. “At 19 she didn’t want to come with us. We had been phoning her all day. My dad went to check and found her.

“They have sent her heart to London for more tests just in case there was anything underlying.

“Her heart was the biggest part of her. She would do anything for anyone.”

Tender tributes have been posted on social media.

Charlotte McDowell said: “Such a kind, funny and amazing friend to so many people.”

Gemma Holland said: “I don’t think you realised how beautiful you are on the outside and inside.”

Nick Jones said: “I always saw Louise as a strong and creative character and always admired her bravery to be exactly who she wanted to be.”

Her aunt Sarah Parkinson said: “Louise you were an inspiration to many and everyone who met you instantly loved you.

“I am setting up this crowdfunding to help give our gorgeous little lady the send off she deserves.”
