FIREFIGHTERS tackled a large skip fire and car blaze in Widnes - both believed to have been started deliberately.
Crews were called to Finlan Road shortly before 9.30pm last night.
Police attended the incident which is a suspected arson.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
