Firefighters lead woman to safety after unattended cooking caught fire
A WOMAN was treated by paramedics after a cooker fire.
The casualty was led to safety by firefighters at a house on Summer Lane, Halton Village in Runcorn.
Crews were called shortly before 11pm last night after cooking was left unattended.
Firefighters used a large fan to remove smoke from the property.
The casualty was taken by ambulance to Warrington Hospital.
