Firefighters say industrial bin fire on Crow Wood Lane is believed to have been started deliberately
INDUSTRIAL bins were torched in an arson attack in Widnes.
Firefighters discovered the blaze in a bin shed on Crow Wood Lane in Halton View shortly after 2am this morning.
Fire engines from Widnes and Penketh tackled the incident. A hose reel jet was used to bring the fire under control.
Crews say the fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
Anyone with information should call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
