TIME to dig you summer gear from the back of your wardrobe as forecasters are predicting sunshine and highs of 25 degrees in Widnes and Runcorn during this weekend's bank holiday.
After a mixed month, early predictions suggest it should be a beautiful start to the bank holiday with temperatures at times higher than Gran Canaria.
From Thursday onwards, forecasters are predicting increasing amounts of sunshine with temperatures reaching 25 degrees.
But sun worshippers should make the most of it on Saturday as while Suday will remain warm, the outlook is much more overcast with a chance of rain on Bank Holiday Monday.
High pressure will never be to far away this week which means there will be a lot dry weather around and temperatures are going to climb pic.twitter.com/H4Gw6qsg7A
