POLICE have released this CCTV image of men wanted in relation to the theft of a car in Widnes.
A resident on Rose Street was disturbed shortly after midnight on Thursday, April 13, by four men outside his home.
It is alleged that the men broke the steering lock and attempted to steal a whiteknuckle moped that was parked in his back garden.
After being disturbed by the home owner the men dropped the bike and fled the scene towards Moor Lane.
Police say the men are believed to have travelled to Widnes from the Liverpool area.
Anyone who recognises the men or has any information in relation to the incident should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 24 of 13 April.
Information can also be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
