A RUNCORN company has expanded to new headquarters and created eight jobs.

First Capital Cashflow has doubled the size of their offices and moved to a new site in Daresbury.

The firm, which provides cloud based direct debit and credit services, is celebrating a record breaking financial year.

The business processed £8 billion worth of transactions for clients across the UK last year, the largest amount in its 15-year history.

Transactions include a one-off transaction of £1 billion, processed in an emergency situation on behalf of a public-sector body.

Managing director Conrad Broadbent said: “The business has gone from strength to strength over the past 15 years.

“Our high standards of service mean the majority of our clients have remained loyal to us, with six of our original 10 clients still using us to process their direct debits.

“Over the last few years we’ve also enjoyed a marked increase in the numbers of new clients choosing to process their collections with us.

“This rapid growth meant we became too large for our existing office space. It seemed like the perfect time to purchase our own premise, giving us a solid platform for further growth.”

The company now employs a 20-strong workforce after recruiting new staff in development, sales and client services.

The payments bureau processes direct debit collections for the UK’s first challenger bank, the public sector, insurance and energy companies.

The company operated at their previous site in Sutton Weaver since it was founded in 2001.
