A MUM is hoping to win a dream garden for her disabled son – but she needs your help.

There are only three days left to vote for Louise Molyneux, from Runcorn, who entered a garden makeover competition.

It would make a world of difference for her 14-year-old son Dylan, a pupil at Chesnut Lodge School.

“I’ve been trying for four years to get my garden done,” said Louise, 35, of Princes Close, Castlefields.

“Dylan has a condition called cerebral folate deficiency, meaning he is wheelchair-bound and suffers from multiple health issues.

“The garden is unsafe for him and he cries when his sister plays outside.

“She plays out alone while the TV is turned up loud so he can't hear her playing or it makes him cry.

“I have cried over this for years but have never had the money to do it.”

MyBuilder.com has launched its win a grand for your garden competition to find the UK’s worthiest winner of a garden makeover.

The prize is a garden transformation worth up to £1,000 - including materials and a MyBuilder tradesman to complete the work.

Almost 500 homeowners from all over the UK have entered and more than 30,000 members of the public have voted so far.

Louise added: “Having garden therapy is so important to Dylan's progress and also to ease his frustrations. He loves dens and loves planting things.

“Our garden was a mud field. I had free flags donated to me and put them down myself, but it is very uneven - impossible to push a wheelchair on.

“Having the garden done would mean so much to us as Dylan could finally play outside.”

The public has until midnight on Sunday 23rd April 23 to cast their votes and determine the final shortlist.
