NINJA Warrior UK’s latest champion came to Widnes to put a new obstacle course to the test.

Jonny Urszuly was named last man standing on series three of the hit show after conquering TV’s toughest assault course.

The personal trainer visited Velocity Trampoline Park to open their version of the gruelling challenge.

Steven Cosgrove, managing director of Velocity on Bennetts Lane, said: “What an honour it was to have Ninja Warrior UK’s very own Jonny Urszuly open our highly-anticipated obstacle course.

“As a series three contestant, personal trainer, gymnast, actor and stunt man all rolled into one, it was great to see Jonny take on the challenge and show everyone how it’s done!”

The course features a varied range of challenging obstacles including climbing nets, high-ropes and chain ladders, which lead onto warped walls, a total wipeout course, a huge foam pit with a jump tower, dodgeball courts and a trampoline area.

Jonny, 30, originally from Budapest, said: “I was delighted to open Velocity Trampoline Park’s action-packed obstacle course.

“Having trained as a gymnast from an early age, fitness is a huge part of my life which is why I believe that venues such as Velocity are a great way of encouraging people to stay active while having fun.”
