Firefighters believe grass fire on Montgomery Road, Widnes, was started deliberately
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a grass fire in Widnes shortly before midnight last night.
Crews used beaters to extinguish a blaze stretching approximately 40 metres along Montgomery Road.
Firefighters believe the fire was started deliberately.
Anyone with information can call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
