CHESHIRE police officers are being featured in a TV documentary as they strive to fight crime.
Police Interceptors returns with a new series of the fly on the wall documentary series on Monday at 8pm on Channel 5.
In the first episode, interceptor PC Tom Spowage tries to stop a suspected petrol thief who’s not prepared to pull over.
Meanwhile, PC Mike Jennings helps carry out a text book tactical pursuit and containment and PC Jim Hunt deals with an abusive drunk.
The series provides a real insight into the work undertaken by officers in the Cheshire Police intercept team.
Featuring some of the most insightful observational police work ever captured on camera, Police Interceptors shows what life is really like for the people who work hard to keep the county’s streets safe and crime free.
Whether it’s chasing runaway drivers, arresting drug dealers or tackling organised crime, this dedicated team of enforcers is on the frontline.
If there are criminals to be caught, the Cheshire Interceptors is determined to lock them up.
