ONE man was stabbed and three other people injured in two assaults in Runcorn.
Police say a 30-year-old man suffered stab wounds to his chest in an incident on Union Street shortly after 6.45pm on Friday.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said today: “A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to life threatening.
“Officers arrested a 32-year-old woman on suspicion of grievous bodily harm who has since been released without charge.”
A 65-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys also suffered minor injuries in a separate assault in the same area.
