A MAN has been left with serious facial injuries after being attacked with a bottle in a Widnes.
The 27-year-old was assaulted in the men’s toilets at the Corner House Pub on Victoria Square.
The incident happened two months ago but the police are making a fresh appeal for information today.
Detectives say there were other men in the toilets at the time who may have seen the assault but have yet to come forward.
The attack happened between 2.35am and 2.45am on Sunday, December 18.
Police are urging any witnesses to make contact.
A 28-year-old man from Slough was arrested on suspicion of assault and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
