Clarice Cliff pottery inspires Widnes flower demonstration in Widnes
A NATIONAL flower demonstrator is coming to Widnes to launch an historic celebration.
Widnes Floral Art Club is marking its 50th anniversary with a year of special events and activities.
Nigel Whyles opens the birthday year with a demonstration entitled The Bizarre World of Clarice Cliff.
Qualified florist Nigel, from Shropshire, will interpret the work of one of the world’s most famous art deco ceramic artist in flowers.
The award-winning demonstrator will have pieces of Clarice Cliff pottery on stage at Farnworth Methodist Church hall, on Derby Road, on Wednesday, March 1 at 7.30pm.
Visitors are welcome. Admission is £5. Membership for 2017 is now open.
