THIS picture of the superlambananas at Runcorn railway station was captured by Alan Martin, from Runcorn.
Superlambridge was designed by artist Jo Kelly and Smileylambanana was created by schoolgirl Alex Austin.
These two innovative designs were created in 2009 as part of a Capital of Culture competition to depict Halton on miniature replicas of Liverpool’s original 17ft superlambanana created by Japanese artist Taro Chiezo.
