A RUNCORN family has been left heartbroken after their dog went missing.

Alexander was a rescue dog from Poland and has never been out of kennels.

His new owners, a Polish family, brought him to Windmill Hill last week.

However, he escaped on Monday and they are frantically trying to find him.

He is registered missing with Doglost and all the local lost and found sites.

Donna Ryan, from Doglost, said: “The family are polish and are distraught so the community is trying to help them.

“He's a small dog who's running scared. He's been sighted in various locations across Runcorn including Norton, Halton Road, Boston Avenue and the old town.

“We need to find this little one soon before he becomes involved in an accident.”

Alexander was last seen running towards Warrington along Chester Road near Daresbury.

A Facebook page has been set up ‘Find Alexander Missing Runcorn’.
