Firefighters treat casualty overcome by smoke on Tawny Court, Hallwood Park
A CASUALTY was overcome by smoke after an extractor fan caught fire at a kitchen in Runcorn.
Firefighters were called to Tawny Court in Hallwood Park at 7.25pm last night.
The fire was already out when crews arrived but one person was suffering from smoke inhalation.
Firefighters gave the occupant oxygen therapy until paramedics came.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance NHS Trust said a rapid response vehicle attended shortly before 7.45pm but did not take the casualty to hospital.
