TWO men have been robbed at knifepoint in a Runcorn car park.
The victims aged 27 and 51 were subjected to the terrifying ordeal on Lime Kiln Row in Castlefields.
Police say they had just parked their car onto the first car park when they were approached by a man who pulled a large survival style knife from his waist band and demanded money.
The robber made off with stolen cash and a mobile phone.
The incident happened shortly before 4.15pm on Saturday.
Detectives today released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery.
The offender is described as white and of a large build.
He was wearing a beige woollen hat with a dark edge around the bottom, a dark three-quarter length coat and grey tracksuit bottoms with white trainers.
He spoke with a soft Merseyside accent.
DC David Wood said: “We are very keen to speak with the man pictured so that we can progress with our enquiries.
“Anyone who recognises the man or has any information please contact police.”
