WELLBEING Enterprise CIC in Runcorn has been announced as the winner of a national competition which recognises excellence and outstanding achievements by social enterprises.
The team were presented with a Health and Social Care award which they received at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on November 28 as part of the UK Social Enterprise Awards.
The founder and CEO Mark Smith said: “We’re delighted to be recognised for our work across the UK supporting people to bolster their wellbeing in the face of growing adversity in our communities.
“We accept this award on behalf of all the staff, volunteers and beneficiaries who have helped us to work towards our social mission over the last 11 years”.
Wellbeing Enterprises CIC were presented with a bespoke trophy made by the social enterprise Designs in Mind which employs people with mental health problems.
