A FORMER beauty student has landed a dream job.
Katy Sullivan has opened her own nail salon, Katy Sullivan Nails, at Reflections in Halton View, Widnes.
The 22-year-old demonstrated her exceptional talent in lessons and competitions when she studied at Riverside College.
In 2015, the former Wade Deacon pupil competed in the national WorldSkills UK competition, impressing the judges with her skill and creativity to claim a silver medal.
One of Katy’s ambitions is to provide work experience and employment opportunities to Riverside College students, offering them a fantastic start within the industry.
Lyn Plater, beauty tutor at Riverside College, said: “Katy should be very proud of her achievements.
“She is a very talented individual and always impressed during her time with us.
“I am very proud of her and it is a pleasure to see her inspire our current students with her success.”
