SCHOOLGIRL singing sensation Beau Dermott who shot to stardom in ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent has announced her debut concert.

The 12-year-old will be raising funds for Cancer Research as her dad recovers from surgery after having a tumour removed from his saliva gland.

Dad Ian was diagnosed with cancer days before Beau earned Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer and a place in the live semi final of the talent show.

The 53-year-old postponed life-saving treatment to give his gifted daughter the chance to become a star.

“Seeing what I have gone through, Beau wants to help raise awareness for other families like us,” said Ian, now recovering at home in Cronton.

“It has been tough but we want to reassure people that they are not alone.

“I have finished my main course of treatment and everything has gone OK. I will have another three doses of chemotherapy so it doesn’t come back.”

Beau and Friends will see the former Cronton CE Primary School pupil perform the songs that brought her national acclaim.

Her astonishing renditions of Defying Gravity and Someone Like You hailed her as one of the UK’s best young vocalists.

The singer with an extraordinary operatic voice will be joined by various famous guests yet to be named.

The concert will also raise funds for the Donna Louise Trust for terminally ill children and the Mane Chance Sanctuary, a charity founded by actress Jenny Seagrove.

Jenny Seagrove and Bill Kenwright have invited Beau to sing at an event in London on November 10 for her charity which cares for abused and abandoned horses.

Ian added: “Beau is absolutely honoured to have been asked to be a junior patron for this charity.

“She is animal mad and loves horse riding.”

Beau flies to Vienna to perform at an opera house on November 17 with various stars.

The schoolgirl is headlining a Christmas show at Trentham Gardens on December 21.

Tickets for her Liverpool concert are now on sale at the Philharmonic box office.
