A CLASSIC car show in Hale village has been hailed a success.
Villager Ian Trimble raised £320 for Prostate Cancer and the British Heart Foundation.
Owners of around 50 cars, 50 scooters and some motorbikes displayed their vehicles at the Childe of Hale pub on Church End.
“The day was great and the sun came out for us,” said Ian, a train driver, of Crabtree Close.
“I’d like to thank all the people who donated prizes and vehicle owners for giving up their time to attend.
“Without them there would be no show.”
Keith Foster, from Farnworth, took this selection of photographs.
