Firefighters tackle fire in roof of bungalow on Wren Close, Palacefields
A GARAGE caught fire in Runcorn yesterday.
Firefighters discovered the fire had spread to the roof space of an adjacent bungalow on Wren Close in Palacefields.
Crews were called shortly before 4.15pm.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, used one hose reel jet to put out the fire.
“Crews dampened down before checking the roof with a thermal imagine camera to ensure no further spots of heat remained.”
