A FAMILY fun day attracted more than 100 people to the CRMZ youth centre on Kingsway in Widnes.
Activities included archery, a DJ, crafts, sports and drug awareness information.
Halton’s Member of Youth Parliament Thomas Norris, 18, from Murdishaw, said he was ‘overly impressed’ to see such a well attended event.
Halton's Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Ged Phibin and Ros Wong said they enjoyed meeting so many young people.
The event was organised by Young Addaction on behalf of Halton’s Children’s Trust and Halton Council as part of an on-going commitment to improve opportunities for all children and young people living in the borough.
Halton Cllr Tom McInerney, board member for children, young people and families, said: "It was a mixture of fun, education and advice, And the positive comments show we got the right balance."
It was supported by Care Grow Live, Well Being Enterprise, Cheshire Fire and Rescue and other partners.
