A SPECIALIST company has celebrated its 25th anniversary in Runcorn.

Tall Security Print supplies security print and payments for the UK’s major banks, blue chip companies, retailers and print management companies.

The business has also printed millions of secure documents, such as ballot papers, certificates and banking documents all over the world.

The company was founded in 1991 by directors Brian Toole, Peter Andrew, Bill Lamb and Phil Long.

They are now part of a group of companies.

The Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire David Briggs unveiled a new long service award board for the Manor Park site.

Print shift manager Steven Astall one of the longest serving employees received a 25-year long service award.

Martin Ruda, managing director of Tall group of companies, said: "25 years of delivering quality service and innovative yet secure print solutions for the financial marketplace and major corporates is a significant milestone that was made possible only by the dedication of our employees, our partners and our commitment to excellence in customer service.

“I want to thank all our employees for their hard work and commitment over the past 25 years.

“They are the heart of our business and without them, we would not have reached this milestone event.”

Guests joined business leaders, employees and their families for a celebration lunch followed by factory tours.

Visitors were able to see new half million pound printing equipment, including a new Xerox digital press, which has increased productivity and efficiency.

An AMS inkjet system enables the company to print variable data at high speeds, including in-line numbering, barcodes and addresses.

The investment has led to new UK and international markets.

Peter Andrew, group sales and marketing director for Tall, said: “We have created a dedicated team of individuals over the last 25 years who are passionate about print and ensuring that those customers’ needs are met.

“This level of dedication means that we not only support UK banks, financial institutions and corporates but also regularly successfully export to over 20 countries with products ranging from cheques to vouchers and from certificates to ballot papers for elections around the world.”
