A RUNCORN man has been jailed for three years and four months for drug supply offences.

Jordan Doran, of no fixed address, was sentenced at Chester Crown Court on August 22 for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

The 25-year-old had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.

Doran was arrested on July 19 after being stopped by officers patrolling Halton Lodge Avenue.

He was found to be concealing a quantity of heroin and cocaine and was subsequently charged and remanded in police custody.

Chief inspector Sarah Heath said: “Drug dealing is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in Runcorn.

"I hope that this case sends a strong and clear message to anyone who is determined to profit from drug dealing that crime does not pay.

"We are committed to targeting those whose activities bring misery to our communities.

“Our commitment to cracking down on illegal drugs in the community will continue, but we need the public’s help.

"If anyone has any information that can assist us in bringing these criminals to justice I urge them to contact police on 101.

"Information can also be left anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555111.”
