WIDNES Rotary Club has selected charity Sam’s Diamonds to benefit from their annual gala, which will be held at the Select Stadium in Widnes on September 24.
Officially launched in 2014, the Widnes-based charity supports women across the north west throughout their journey of cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
Founder and CEO of the charity, Sam Lewis said: “We are totally overwhelmed and delighted that we have been recognised by Widnes Rotary Club and our community for the support we offer.
“We support families as they go through such a difficult time by helping them to maintain a positive outlook, providing fun activities and workshops and guest speakers to keep them moving forward.
“The gala promises to be an excellent night with good food, music, dancers, raffles and auctions, and plenty of entertainment, I can’t wait.”
