FIRE crews tackled a fire in an outbuilding in Widnes yesterday afternoon.
Four fire engines were dispatched to Alder Avenue at 5.15pm on Sunday having been alerted to the blaze, which had started in an outbuilding metres from a railway line.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire before damping the area down.
