THE Sydney Opera House will come to Runcorn for one night only when a classic opera will be broadcast live from the iconic building to The Brindley theatre.
A production of Puccini’s classic opera, Turandot, will be performed on Sydney Harbour’s outdoor water stage at the Handa Opera on September 15.
The story follows a beautiful and powerful princess, Turandot, who challenges her suitors to answer three riddles on pain of death.
Prince Calàf falls in love with her and the opera follows his trials.
Chinese director Chen Shi-Zheng has created a visually spectacular and dramatic production for music fans.
