A RUNCORN mum is hosting a family fun day to help three charities which support families.
Claire Green, from Brookvale, has organised an action packed event at The Halton Arms on Murdishaw Avenue from noon until 5pm on Saturday, July 30.
Elsa and Olaf, Darth Vader, Minions, Spiderman and Batman will be among a galaxy of mascots making a special appearance.
Games, a bouncy castle, arts and crafts, stalls, a sweet truck, ice cream van, raffle, tombolas and cakes promise to make it a day to remember.
The 32-year-old hopes her butterflies and rainbows charity family fun day will raise £1,000 to share between the charities Tommy’s, Daddys With Angels and ComforTED.
“I had a still born boy Riley and have a four-year-old daughter Millie so I have been on both sides,” said Claire.
“I wanted to do something to help families who have lost children and also people who have babies afterwards, hence the butterflies and rainbows.
“The response has been amazing. Everything has been donated for the day so I hope to raise £1,000 to split between these three amazing charities.”
