FOUR people have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering following a house search in Widnes.
Police officers executed a warrant at a house on Barnes Road on July 11 whilst the occupants were moved into temporary accommodation.
A tent was erected in the front garden and forensic teams carried out an extensive search.
Cheshire Police confirmed today that two men aged 19 and 52, and two women aged 18 and 49 were arrested on July 14.
A police spokesman said: “As a result of the warrant four people have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
“Following questioning all four people have been released on bail pending further enquiries.”
Last week police said the search was expected to take several days and has now concluded.
