Firefighters tackle skip blaze on Vine Street and lamp post fire on Halton Lodge Avenue
A SKIP caught fire in Widnes in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters tackled the blaze on Vine Street shortly before 2am.
Crews also dealt with a fire involving a lamp post in Runcorn shortly after 5am.
Dry powder was used to put out the fire on Halton Lodge Avenue.
The Electricity Board was asked to isolate the power supply.
