WIDNES singing sensation Beau Dermott is on the road to stardom even though she didn’t win Britain’s Got Talent.

The 12-year-old came fifth in the live final on Saturday but has been signed up by a top agency run by showbusiness mogul Jonathan Shalit who discovered Charlotte Church.

The Cronton star is already in talks about making her London stage debut and recording an album and experts believe she is poised for an international singing career.

Judge Simon Cowell has invited her to perform at his Midsummer Ball in support of seriously ill children and their families in London tonight, Wednesday.

He is patron of the UK children’s charity Together for Short Lives.

The former Cronton CE Primary School pupil is performing at Glasgow Philharmonia’s summer concert in Edinburgh on Thursday.

On Friday, she will sing two songs at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with professional youth orchestra Glasgow Philharmonia.

Her dad, Ian, 53, said: “We’re perfectly happy. Finishing fifth was fantastic.

“Beau’s semi final was mind blowing and she was great in the final.

“Not one tear has been shed by Beau. There has been a constant big smile on her face. She was happy to make it to the final.

“We are in talks with West End shows and there is talk of an album.”

More than 12 million ITV viewers watched Beau’s powerful rendition of Defying Gravity from Wicked.

Katherine Jenkins and Michael Ball are among countless stars showering her with praise.

Leading lyricist Don Black said: “A lot of singers over sing with five notes when one will do.

“Beau sings the songs as written. There is an honesty about them.”

Simon Cowell said: “I guarantee you in five or 10 years time we’re all going to look back to this period when we first saw you and say: ‘This is the moment we discovered a star’.

Her dad added: “Beau performed three times and three times she had all four judges and everyone in the audience on their feet.

“She can’t do any more than that.

“To everyone who voted we can’t say thank you enough.”
