A MAN has been charged with making hoax bomb threats in Runcorn.
Philip Kilkelly, 67, of Morval Crescent, has been charged with two counts of making bomb hoax calls and communicating false information.
The charges relate to incidents on May 18 and 19.
Police appealed for information after receiving a call from a telephone box on High Street in Runcorn at 6.14am on Thursday, May 19.
The caller made reference to a device being left at Runcorn Shopping centre.
Kilkelly was arrested following a police investigation and is due to appear at North Cheshire Magistrates Court in Runcorn on June 29.
