A RUNCORN industrial estate beside the new Mersey Gateway given a new lease of life.

Investors have transformed empty units to give businesses the chance to invest, expand and create jobs.

Pin Property has just completed the refurbishment of nearly 60,000 square foot of units on Astmoor Industrial Estate.

The company bought the property from Caisson in November 2015.

Industrial agents from across the north west joined council officials at a launch event on Wednesday.

It was an opportunity to showcase a variety of accommodation now available on Astmoor and neighbouring Manor Park.

Halton Council chief executive David Parr said: “Pin has done a great job in Halton over the years so we are happy to show our support.”

Pin recently attracted specialist scientific instrument company KRSS, which helps diagnose diseases and detect drug abuse, to Manor Park.

Two units on Brindley Road and one on Arkwright Road have been comprehensively refurbished with bright new external cladding, high quality internal offices and large concrete yards.

Work has also been completed recently on two units on Christleton Court, Manor Park.

Imran Younus, Pin Property commercial and marketing director, said: “Astmoor’s proximity to the new Mersey Gateway and its status as Business Improvement District means it is an ideal location for companies looking to locate to the north west”.
