Two lanes have been closed on the M56 after a car burst into flames.
TWO lanes have been closed on the M56 Westbound near Runcorn after a car burst into flames.
Firefighters wearing breathing equipment tackled the blaze, which took place on the hard should between juntions 12 and 14 at midday.
The hatchback fire has now been extinguished and one lane remains closed.
There are currently delays in both directions.
