A HALTON choir has donated £500 to Runcorn scouts.
The Irish Guards raises funds through their performances and supports various charities.
They presented the gift to help fund activities for the 3rd and 9th Runcorn Scout Group.
Boys and girls aged six to 14 take part in an action packed programme including hill walking, climbing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing.
The group is based at a newly refurbished hut on Moughlands Lane.
Any children wishing to join or adults interested in becoming leaders can visit merseyweaverscouts.org.uk/groups/3rd-and9th-runcorn.
The Irish Guards also welcome new members. Anyone interested can call 07742 939910.
