A RUNCORN company says it is honoured to have received a prestigious royal accolade.

Sandon Global has been granted the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade for outstanding achievement in investment and growth in international business over the last six years.

The Manor Park firm manufactures rolls and sleeves used to produce high quality printed packaging, including wine labels, self-adhesive labels, corrugated board and crisp packets.

Founded in 2004, the company has seen significant growth year on year since its launch.

“It recognises the enormous achievements Sandon has made in developing export markets.

“We now export to over 53 countries throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Sandon has 45 employees on Boleyn Court and is currently expanding its manufacturing, customer service and administration teams.

The company is proud to provide job opportunities for the community, make charity donations and sponsor local groups.
