A SERIAL rapist has been jailed for life for preying on women and children from Runcorn.
Christopher O’Brien, 37, also known as Draffan O’Brien, must serve a minimum of 10 years for a string of historic sexual offences against women and young children.
Judge Tina Landale sentenced him for 14 counts of rape and six charges of indecently assaulting women at Warrington Crown Court on April 15.
O’Brien, from Manchester, also faced a catalogue of abuse charges including numerous sexual assaults on a woman and a female child.
He was also convicted of six sexual offences against a boy and two charges of causing children to watch indecent material.
O’Brien was given an indefinite sentence but told he would spend a minimum of 10 years in custody.
He was ordered to sign the Sexual Offenders’ Register and pay a £120 victim surcharge.
