Delays after crash involving two cars and a trailer
MOTORISTS have reported lengthy delays travelling towards the Runcorn Widnes Bridge following an earlier accident involving two cars and a trailer.
All lanes have now been re-opened towards Widnes but drivers have reported traffic is still moving slowly.
A Highways England spokesman said: "There is queueing traffic due to an earlier accident involving two cars and a trailer on A533 Runcorn Widnes Bridge Northbound from A557 Weston Point Expressway to A557 Queensway.
"There is also congestion on A557 Weston Point Expressway to A5126 Weston Link."
