Delays expected following M56 crash
MOTORISTS heading to Runcorn on the M56 are being warned to expect delays during the home time rush hour following a crash involving a car and a lorry.
It has been reported two lanes are closed and there is 'stop-start traffic' due to the accident on the M56 Eastbound after J14 A5117 (Hapsford).
Congestion is back to M56 to J15 M53, on A5117 to B5132 Cryers Lane / Pool Lane and on M56 to J16 A5117 / A494.
Early indications from Highways England suggest a car has spun on the route from Chester towards Warrington.
