MERSEY Gateway bridge builders hosted a Christmas party for children.
Around 30 toddlers from Halton Lodge and Grange Pre-School were treated to a festive celebration on Thursday.
A reptile show, party food and visit from Father Christmas were provided by Merseylink staff, who donated £1,250 to pay for the event.
The funds will also go towards a much needed wall mounted baby change unit.
Jill Berry, manager of Halton Lodge and Grange Pre-School, said: "I'd like to say a huge thank you to Merseylink.
“The Christmas party surpassed all our expectations and we're extremely grateful."
The pre-school is a registered charity caring for youngsters aged two to four.
It supports children with special educational needs and many vulnerable children and is run by a volunteer committee from a mobile unit in the grounds of Woodside Primary School.
Rachel Moseley, Merseylink's supply chain manager, who organised the event, said: "It's a wonderful feeling to know that we have been able to treat youngsters at this time of year.”
