A Christmas tree festival like this is being staged at St Mary's Church in West Bank, Widnes
A CHRISTMAS tree festival is being staged at St Mary’s Church in West Bank, Widnes.
Each one will depict part of the Christmas story.
Visitors are invited to hang a decoration on a community tree in memory of a loved one.
The festive event runs from Friday, December 4 to Sunday, December 6.
A Christmas bazaar is being held in St Mary’s community centre from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, December 5.
Children can visit Father Christmas in his grotto from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
A choir from West Bank Academy will sing carols.
There will be a Christmas picture competition and children can write a letter and post it to Father Christmas.
Refreshments will be available.
