Firefighters remove dangling shop canopy at Runcorn hairdressers
A SHOP canopy broke off causing a danger to pedestrians in Runcorn.
Firefighters dealt with the incident in Langdale Road shortly before 9pm last night.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews found that a canopy had partially come away from a hairdressers posing a potential danger to the public.
“Firefighters removed the canopy and ensured that the building was safe before leaving the scene.”
